Mr. DiCicco was lead counsel for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority in litigation against its general liability insurance carriers to obtain coverage for contamination to property at the Turnpike.  The Turnpike recovered approximately $10,000,000 from its insurance carriers. Mr. DiCicco represented Lakewood Township in the orderly closure of Tent City – one of the largest homeless camps in the United States. Mr. DiCicco represents Lakewood Township in the redevelopment project advanced by Cedarbridge Development Corporation. The project is a 240 acre site to be developed for office and commercial space. Mr. DiCicco is also representing Carteret Borough as special redevelopment counsel with respect to the Washington Avenue/Cooke Avenue Redevelopment Project. Mr. DiCicco also has successfully brought wage and hour claims, wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuits for employees against several Fortune 500 companies and other employers.  In the aggregate, those cases resulted in settlements or judgments in excess of $5,000,000.  Mr. DiCicco also represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in construction disputes through mediation, arbitration and litigation.  Some of the entities that he has represented in construction disputes are The Clayton Companies, Three G’s Plumbing and Heating, Kelso Construction, Dearborn Builders, The Howell Township Board of Education, Professional Security Systems, Lakewood Township and SamPaul Contracting, Inc. Mr. DiCicco also represents borrowers in complex commercial financial transactions with lenders and secured parties and buyers and sellers in real estate and business transactions. His clients have included Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Buckelew & Associates, WOBM, American Classics Realty and The Clayton Companies.
 
Mr. DiCicco received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Seton Hall University in 1980 and was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society. Mr. DiCicco received his J.D., with honors, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1983. While at Seton Hall Law School, he served as Managing Editor of Seton Hall Law Review and published a Note on Antitrust Law and the State Action Immunity Doctrine.
 
Mr. DiCicco served as councilman in Point Pleasant Beach, Ocean County, winning election in 2004.  In that election, Mr. DiCicco led the Democratic Party to its first majority control of the governing body in the 117 year history of Point Pleasant Beach winning two control elections.  He was unanimously elected Council President in 2006.  From 2000-2005 Mr. DiCicco served as the President of the Democratic Organization in Point Pleasant Beach and as the Democratic Municipal Chairman.  From 2007-2011, he once again served as President of the Democratic Organization and as Democratic Municipal Chairman. Mr. DiCicco moved to Middletown Township, Monmouth County in 2011. Mr. DiCicco is President of the Middletown Democratic Club and Co-Chairman of the Bayshore Democratic Alliance.
